UGA buses are free to ride. They run on weekday and weekend schedules. Please see the information below for suggested routes on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. The UGA Transit Website has specific information on times. You can download the UGA app on your smartphone for convenient bus tracking!

On Friday:

From the Holiday Inn Athens-University Area to the MLC:

The Health Science Connector and East West routes pick up outside the Holiday Inn (Broad Street Studies stop):

Bus line 1

The Health Science Connector is the more direct route, as the East West route might involve waiting on the bus at the Library stop (which is the end of the route and as such often includes time built in for driver changes, etc.).

They both drop off at the Correll Hall stop:

From the MLC to downtown/Holiday Inn Athens-University Area

The Health Science Connector picks up at the Memorial Hall stop (make sure to go to the Sanford stadium side of the street):

It drops off at the Lumpkin Street at Wray Street stop (also called the Gilbert Hall stop):

The Health Science Connector will also take you to Dougherty Street at Hull Street (Denney Towers) stop which is a short walk from Ted's Most Best:

The Orbit bus also picks up at Memorial Hall, and drops off at the UGA Arch, the gateway from the campus to downtown Athens:

On Saturday & Sunday:

From the Holiday Inn Athens-University Area to the MLC:

The Weekender route picks up at Broad Street studios and drops off at the Tate Center stop (directly across the street from the Memorial Hall stop shown above). 

From the MLC to downtown/Holiday Inn Athens-University Area

The Weekender picks up from the Memorial Hall stop (shown above) and drops off at Lumpkin St. and Wray St. (also shown above). It will also take you to Dougherty St. at Hull St. (Denney Towers), which is near Ciné:
