Brand Yourself Workshop for Graduate Students

Please join Linguistics PhD Candidate, Joey Stanley, for a workshop on presenting yourself professionally in a digital world!

Topics will include:

  • Academic “social media” sites like Academia.edu, ResearchGate, and GoogleScholar.
  • Building a personal webpage, including website builders and what to include in a website with an emphasis on department webpages.
  • Finding where the conversations happen online and how to use Twitter as an academic.

A repeat session will be offered Wednesday, March 18th at 3:35pm in MLC  250.
