Courses that are cross-listed with LING but taken under the associated course prefix can in almost all instances be automatically used to satisfy Linguistics major or minor requirements. For example, if you took CMSD(LING) 3120 as CMSD 3120, it can still count as a Linguistics course. If it is not applied to the correct requirement automatically in DegreeWorks, just contact your advisor and ask them to adjust this. The only current exception to this rule is ENGL(LING) 4826
