The Linguistics Society at the University of Georgia is proud to present the 6th Annual Linguistics Conference at UGA on October 4–5! The central focus of this year’s conference is ''Place: Linguistics and Locality.'' We encourage presentations with creative interpretations of the central theme and that span academic fields, as well as connect academia with the larger community. We are proud to welcome our plenary speakers, Dr. Katie Carmichael of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and Dr. Paul Reed of the University of Alabama, who will share their insight on topics related to this theme. The abstract deadline has already passed. If you missed it, we hope to see you next year!
