Negin Khavari is a Ph.D. student in Linguistics at the University of Georgia. Her academic interests include first language acquisition, psycholinguistics, and neurolinguistics, with a particular interest in how language is acquired, processed, and represented in the mind and brain.

She holds an M.A. in Linguistic Studies from Syracuse University, with a concentration in First Language Acquisition, and a B.A. in English Translation. Her academic background has allowed her to explore language from both theoretical and interdisciplinary perspectives.

In addition to her research interests, Negin has experience in language teaching and has previously worked as a TESOL instructor at Syracuse University. At UGA, she continues to develop her research and teaching experience while pursuing her doctoral studies in linguistics.
