The Department of Linguistics is proud to announce the 2023 Outstanding Teaching Award winners:

  • Ryan McDonald
  • Artin Nasirpour

The Outstanding Teaching Assistant (OTA) award is administered by UGA's Center for Teaching and Learning and sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Instruction. This award recognizes teaching assistants who demonstrate superior instructional skills while serving in the classroom or laboratory.

The names of our OTA Award winners are available on the Center for Teaching and Learning website and were celebrated in their April GradTeach newsletter. OTA Award winners were formally recognized during the CTL 2023 Spring Teaching Symposium.

We are grateful for the hard work and dedication of these talented teaching assistants in the Department of Linguistics.
