UGA buses are free to ride. They run on weekday and weekend schedules. Please see the information below for suggested routes on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. The UGA Transit Website has specific information on times. You can download the UGA app on your smartphone for convenient bus tracking!

On Friday:

From the Georgia Center Hotel to the Miller Learning Center (MLC):

The University Village and North South routes pick up outside the Georgia Center (Georgia Center stop):

They are both direct routes to the Miller Learning Center (MLC). They both drop off at the Memorial Hall stop:

From the MLC back to the Georgia Center:

Either the University Village or North South routes can be used to return to the Georgia Center by getting on the respective bus at the Tate Center stop (which is on the opposite side of the street from the Memorial Hall stop, on the opposite side of the street as Sanford Stadium).

 

From the MLC to downtown

The Health Science Connector and the University Village bus both pick up at the Memorial Hall stop (make sure to go to the Sanford stadium side of the street):

It drops off at the Lumpkin Street at the Gilbert Hall stop, which is a short walk to East Broad Street and downtown.

The University Village bus will also take you to The Arch stop which is a short walk from restaurants in the southern portion of downtown. The Orbit bus will also pick up at Memorial Hall stop and take you to the The Arch stop.

The Health Science Connector will also take you to Dougherty Street at Hull Street (Denney Towers) stop which is a short walk from Ted's Most Best and other restaurants in the northern portion of downtown:

On Saturday:

From the Georgia Center to the MLC:

The Weekender route picks up at the Georgia Center stop and drops off at the Memorial Hall stop (shown above). 

From the MLC to downtown

The Weekender picks up from the Memorial Hall stop (shown above) and drops off at the Gilbert Hall stop on Lumpkin St. (also shown above). It will also take you to Dougherty St. at Hull St. (Denney Towers) (also shown above), which is near northern downtown. It will also take you to The Arch stop (also shown above), although it first detours quite far out to the Health Sciences Campus.
