Congratulations to Dr. Jared Klein on 50 years at UGA!

We congratulate Jared Klein, Distinguished Research Professor, on the completion of his 50th year as a faculty member at UGA. Dr. Klein joined the UGA Department of Classics in Fall 1972. A specialist in historical Indo-European linguistics focusing on syntax and discourse structure, Dr. Klein has an impressive list of publications to his credit (2 books, 2 monographs, 5 edited books, 69 articles), which continues to grow, and has been recognized with numerous honors and awards.

Interdisciplinary study of mind and intelligent activity that forms cognitive sciences. Contributions of psychology, philosophy, linguistics, biology, anthropology, computer science, and education toward uncovering important aspects of the mind and intelligent activity are discussed. This course is cross-listed with ARTI, PHIL, and PSYC.
